I am a seasoned Marketing and Corporate Communications executive with almost 25 years of experience leading transformative marketing strategies, building award-winning brands, and driving measurable impact across the financial and telecommunications sectors in Kuwait.
Currently serving as Chief Marketing Officer at Gulf Bank, I lead the Bank’s integrated marketing strategy—overseeing brand positioning, advertising, media planning and buying, digital marketing, PR, CSR, retail marketing, and corporate website management. I manage a multi-million Kuwaiti Dinar marketing budget, with a clear focus on ROI, reputation building, and customer engagement.
Under my leadership, Gulf Bank’s brand value surged to $244 million—a 30% increase as reported by Brand Finance—driven by bold, insight-led, and cost-effective marketing initiatives. Prior to this, I held senior roles at Zain, one of the region’s most valuable telecom brands with a brand value of $3.5 billion, where I honed my expertise in consumer engagement, brand storytelling, and data-driven marketing.
Academically, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from The American University in Cairo, with a specialization in Integrated Marketing Communications and a minor in Psychology. I have also completed two executive programs at Harvard Business School: Strategic Leadership in the Age of Financial Sustainability and Transforming Customer Experiences—both of which have shaped my forward-thinking approach to brand growth, digital transformation, and customer-centric innovation.
