Running Toward Inclusivity: My Journey with Kuwait's Largest Marathon, Gulf Bank 642 Marathon

As the sun rose over the vibrant streets of Kuwait, I found myself amidst a sea of eager faces, each adorned with determination and anticipation. It was the day of Kuwait's largest marathon, Gulf Bank 642 Marathon, an event I had the privilege to be deeply involved in managing. With over 6,000 participants from diverse backgrounds, ages, and nationalities, the marathon was not just a race; it was a celebration of unity and inclusivity.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my involvement was witnessing the diversity that graced the event. From seasoned athletes to first-time runners, from locals to expatriates, the marathon brought together people from all walks of life. As they traversed the historic streets of Kuwait, passing through the charming old market in Mubarakiya and the iconic Gulf Bank historical headquarters, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and joy.

Seeing the participants' smiles as they soaked in the rich culture and heritage of Kuwait was truly heartwarming. It was more than just a race; it was an opportunity for individuals to connect, to embrace differences, and to celebrate the beauty of diversity.

As I reflect on the success of the marathon, I am filled with gratitude for being part of such a remarkable journey. And as we look forward to the 10th edition of the marathon next November, I am excited about the possibility of welcoming even more participants and continuing to foster a culture of inclusivity and unity.

Join us on this extraordinary journey, as we lace up our shoes and run towards a future where diversity is celebrated, and unity knows no bounds. See you at the 10th edition of Kuwait's largest marathon!
